Welcome to HiLight’s Wi-Fi Management Service – For those who prefer a hassle-free experience, HiLight is here to manage and facilitate your Wi-Fi connection, so you can enjoy reliable and fast internet throughout your home.
Available exclusively to HiLight internet subscribers, this optional add-on service is offered for an additional $10 per month.
HiLight's Wi-Fi Management Service Includes:
- A Wi-Fi 6 dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz) enabled GigaSpire Blast u6.
- Help with setting up your network name, passwords, and managing Wi-Fi security.
- Support for setting up and using the HiLight IQ Mobile App to manage your home network.
- Timely response to Wi-Fi-related service issues in your home. Let us handle the technical details, so you can focus on what matters most.
- Built in feature like:
- ProtectIQ - a network-level security feature that works silently in the background, providing 24/7 protection from malicious websites, viruses, and intrusions.
- ExperienceIQ – allowing you more controls to manage devices in your home network.
Wi-Fi Mesh Extenders are available at an extra cost and are NOT included in the Wi-Fi Management Service.
HiLight provides the listed download, and upload speeds up to the point where the fiber connects to your home — specifically, the provided ONT. However, speeds beyond this point can be affected by factors like the number and types of devices connected, and how they’re connected.
If you choose to use your own Wi-Fi equipment, you'll be responsible for managing your in-home Wi-Fi performance.
