Building Permit Inspections

Site Development Inspections

Site Development Permits include:

• Private Utility Permits (PUP)
• Parking Lot Permits
• Grading and Erosion Control Permits
• Right-of-Way Permits
• Franchise Utility Permit (FUP)

After-Hours Inspections 

The City of Hillsboro Building Division provides inspections daily Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, except for holidays.

We understand that sometimes inspections are needed outside of regular business hours to avoid disturbance to business operations. Our inspectors can visit your job site outside of regular business hours by submitting a request below.

Monday through Friday

• Minimum two hours
• $75 per hour plus 12% state surcharge

Weekends and Holidays

• Minimum four hours
• $75 per hours plus 12% state surcharge

Request an after-hours inspection. To ensure that Building inspectors will be available, please submit your request no later than two business days prior to the inspection date.
